| WOOF! MY name is Tax (Tyler Alexander Xavier Bluerease on my birth registration) and I'm a salt and pepper miniature schnauzer. I'm 8, almost 9 years old - for you humans that is a little over one of your years. I take care of my three men in Atlanta, Georgia, US, though they think they own me. I humor them and play along when they tell me to find Daddy Doug or Daddy Roger. I like to convince my 'Dads' to go outside then I take them for walks and check out everything around. I really like to play tug of war with my rope and attack my leather glove on one of my Dad's hands. I REALLY like to play frisbee and play hide and seek. Two of my Dads are studying about human muscles and bones and how to massage and relax them. My other Dad spends a lot of time talking with other humans about things like 'corporate entities', 'taxes', and 'management structure'. One other thing I thing is really odd is that almost every week, one of my Dads comes home with a different picture on his skin. I hear them talking about having these pictures and designs cover their whole bodies someday. |

| Why does one of my Dads run this SETI program? Beats me though I have heard them all talking about it. They say it is something that needs to be done, and the sooner that they, the humans, find something else out there, then the sooner they can grow up and get rid of that superiority the humans have. My one Dad said he has had lots of dreams about the ETs and some of them havent been very nice. No anal probes, he said, but lots of terrible experiments where ETs cut up and hurt other humans and animals. He said he even saw one when he was a little boy. Well, if an ET comes into this house now, you can be sure, I'd definately have something a bit more tasty than my same old dog food for a snack that day. Should humans send out a beacon? Nah - I think the humans that think they should send out a signal are still caught up in that superiority thing; the ETs that are out there already know about us here and will let the humans know they exist when the ETs think it is time. |
