Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Yes life exists on other planets statistical it must. If you exclude the possibility of life on Mars there is one planet that has life on it (Earth). Hence the probability of life is not zero. There are billions of stars and billions to the power of billion planets statistical they must exist.
Will we discover them who knows! How that discovery will help who knows!
A beacon has been transmitted since the first radio messages. It just saddened me that the TV we produce today may be seen by someone else somewhere else... More than Big brother watching you!

And why dont radio telescopes exist in space? Less noise and possible to build massive arrays and little problem of planet getting in the way.
