Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I definately think there's life out there. There's way too much empty space out there for us to be alone and i think it would be pretty arrogant for us to think that its al for us.Whether meeting them is good or bad would depend, I guess , on them.I do doubt very much that I will live to see actual contact with another civilization. As far as sending a signal out ourselves, well aren't we doing that everyday now, what with all the radio and t.v signals we send out? I'm running SETI@Home Because I think SETI is an excellent idea and the more people participate, the faster the data will be processed and the higher the chances that something will be detected if it is there to detect.
