Greetings! I am a middle school social studies teacher interested in encouraging young adults to search for the intelligence in their own lives. I find SETI to be a helpful metaphor in that effort. My SETI@home screensaver runs all the time in my classroom at school and generates many questions, discussions and debates.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I believe that life exists throughout the Universe. Intelligence exists in many forms. Whatever can happen, will happen. Happenings with utility will recur and persevere. We and other intelligent beings are ways for the Universe to contemplate itself(ourself). Way cool!
