I'm the Owner/CEO of the Imagination Factory, a graphic/internet/interactive media design and marketing firm with offices in the US and Canada (www.what-if.com). In canada, we also mfgr wood model kits of daVinci's flying machine and aerial screw (www.davincistore.com), without which we might have never ventured into space.
Fluent in several human and a multitude of computer languages.
Avid Sci-Fi reader and movie goer. Even have deeds to acreage on moon and mars (a gift from friends - not extraterrestrial)
Other hobbies include saltwater aquarium and tinkering w/ my antique sportscar. Like jazz and am 'old' buffet parrothead!

It would be ludicrous NOT to consider that other life might exist on other planets, in other planes of existance, in other vibratory states. We are aware of only a small fraction of the spectrum of life.
The benefits as well as dangers could be innumerable. The assumption is that what we find will be benevolent rather than malevolent. The risk is that it might not. At the very minimum, it will force us to re-evaluate our entire belief structure.
