Personal background
I live in London, England, I am currently doing my GCSE`s and spend most my time either gaming, doing martial arts, wasting time (hehehe always worth it) or hanging around with my mates.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I believe that SETI@home is an interesting idea, personally i believe that it is more ignorant to NOT believe there is extraterrestrial life considering the fact that the universe is so incomprehensibly huge and full of wonders we have yet to discover (or maybe we won`t?). However, it is doubtful that we may ever meet any other forms of life due to our lack of efficient space travelling technology.
It is also a good idea for humans to send out many beacons containing whatever information felt necessary, however, it is hard to believe that these beacons will ever come into contact with extraterrestrial beings, but never the less it`s worth the try.
I run SETI@home because i feel it is an interesting idea and think that the project is run very well (or it may just be because im a trekkie? NERDCORE RULZ!). One suggestion would be better advertising for the site as i believe alot of people would be interested in the project.
