Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
ALthough I don't have a particular interest in space or in finding intelligent extraterrestrial life, I do think SETI@Home is a very interesting project in that it has such enormous computing capacity. I read about it in an article and thought it wouldn't be a bad idea to run it in the background and let it use my spare CPU cycles. I currently have it running under a Windows XP computer and a GNU/Linux computer.
