Electrical Engineer from Tasmania Australia with some spare CPU cycles up my sleeve and an interest in whats out there. Actually a Kiwi in permanent residence, theres a lot of us in Australia :^) I'm into computers, obviously, swimming, reading (esp sci fi/fantasy) play volleyball, been known to scubadive, and enjoy tramping (bushwalking to the locals and rambling to them from the UK)

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
My smattering of statistics says they must exist, have existed or will exist. Meeting will only be a matter of timing. It may be that we will only find ruins around the signal beacon, or eventually a planet full of pre hominid equivalents but there has got to be life of some sort out there!!
