I am a computer technician in Houston, Tx. I remember watching "Cosmos" with my family when i was a kid. I was enthralled by everything Dr. Sagan had to say. I hung on every word of every episode. I have always benn a believer in extra terrestrial life and I know some day my little home computer will find the signal. Long live Carl Sagan.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I do believe and I know we will hear from them when we are ready. As far as sending a signal to ET, by all means yes. Perhaps some little guy is sitting at home at his computer waiting to hear from us. I run SETI@home because I think it ois the noblest and purest use of my computer. It sure beats wasting processor power on Quake.
