Well... a lot to say... here's a short summary:
I'm 26 and I live in Italy. I'm a computer programmer and a student of physics.
I play soccer (I am a goalkeeper) but I like playing almost every sport from
beach volley to snowboarding...
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1. If I don't misremember: about 400 000 000 000 of galaxies in the
observed universe and about 400 000 000 000 of stars each galaxy... well, I'm
almost sure that extraterrestrial life exists somewhere.
Don't know when and how humans will discover it (or if we have already found
it). However I think that the probability of discovering it increases if we
search for it (but in current world management this is not pursued because
most people is interested in short term profit...
will answer to the other questions some other time :D
