I was 65 this Summer and volunteer at our local American Red Cross tweny hours a week..and love it! I've enjoyed computers since the mid-eighties and when I heard about Seti, I jumped at the opportunity. I know there is intelligent life out there..and I sure hope I get to see the proof that will come. It's pretty egotistical to think that we're the only "grain of sand" in all of space that has "life".
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Of-course extraterrestrial life exists! And Seti is doing it's best to locate it. And when we find it? What a fantastic, mind-broadening experience!I smile to even think about it.
SETI@home and Astropulse are funded by grants from the National Science Foundation, NASA, and donations from SETI@home volunteers. AstroPulse is funded in part by the NSF through grant AST-0307956.
