Personal background
Hi, I'll be 25 in December and I'm a computing student at Caledonian University in Glasgow. What I intend to do after that I don't know yet, something in systems design or games development.

In my spare time I'm passionate about films and film making and once I get my hands on a camera then this poor world will be subjected to my imagination! Yes, you should be worried, or at least depressed. hehe!

I also enjoy lots of types of music, reading and playing games. Now and then I get outside in which case my favourite place is Vegas Night in Glasgow. A great club night of 60's swing! But really anywhere I can get a good dance (and space for those to avoid my dancing) is fine by me!

I'm running the Windows client on a Athlon 2100XP PC and a P4 2.4Ghz laptop (both running XP)
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Alien life is out there but if we find it or meet it in my lifetime then I'll be surprised. Assuming they want to meet us. To be honest if I met an extra terrestial tomorrow who had just arrived here, I would tell him to turn around and go home cause this place is not worth stopping at. But before he goes does he want some tea, and to maybe give a few hints on how to fix this place up. Doing some Independence Day style redocrating of the White House and Westminster wouldn't go a miss either.

I think if SETI can let us know there is life there for sure then maybe we'll shift our bums into doing something about getting in shape. Dreaming? oh yes, but I've not heard any better suggestions so far.
