| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I totally agree that extraterrestrial life exists. The idea of extraterrestrial life was implanted into our subconcious. We will forever be looking to the stars and producing literature and movies that portray our crossing paths with beings from other planets. We will be allowed to discover more about life beyond the planet Earth, when we, humans, are ready for that step. We will exceed our wildest imagination when this meeting comes.
We should continue transmitting to show that we are willing to except the knowledge to be given to us. We should portray ourselves as beings who are open to new ideas. We should share our knowledge and understanding to encourage the possibilities of that future meeting.
I believe, that by running SETI@home, I am doing my part to encourage the possibilites of this future encounter. This project should continue to ensure that we are willing to accept our future. We will move beyond. |
