Personal background
I live in "sometimes sunny" Cornwall, near the Newquay area where all you get in the summer hols is emits in the arcades.

I’m 17 and studying Cisco Networking (CCNA), Cisco Information Technology Essentials (ITE) and AVCE which is just IT and has no point in my life what so ever. But hey what are you going to do. I want to go Uni and study Games Development but no one takes you seriously when it comes to games. But I want to be earning £30 - £50,000 a year and there’s nothing more I like to do in my spare time than sit down and play a bit of Xbox.

I’m not an active guy. I like to go bowling and play pool at the local pub and that’s all the exercise I get.

I’m healthy but not fit. I managed to get a collapsed Lung not long ago and it’s most likely it will happen again. But as long as I have a laptop with me I’m happy.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I run SETI@Home because I have the processing power not doing anything so I would like to use it for something. I like the fact that we can't be the only living planet. It’s a great feeling to know something else might be out there. I’m not talking about aliens but anything. Just some sort of life.

I hope that we get something out of this project. It would be nice to know that we have stuck on something big and it’s just your average computer user that found it. It would be a shame not to.

I would like to see more news on the scientific side of things. Just anything like someone has found something.
