My name is Arden Daghlian and I live in Southfield, Michigan. I don't know honestly what to write here other than my background. I am currently attending college and am also working part time. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

Why am I here, and why did I start using SETI@Home?
Well... I've always been interested in SETI but never had a computer good enough to have it running and make it worth while... so I decided finally to start using it and provide some use of my computing power while using my computer for whatever other purpose I have for it (it doesn't slow me down, so it's all good).
Oh, do I believe in E.T.s? Yes. Do I believe they've sent signals to Earth? Probably. Will we ever receive them in our lifetime? Who knows. But what I can say is this. We can't be the only intelligent living things in this universe, and if we try our hardest to seek out those life forms, then we're doing our duty to cure our insatiable curiosity. |
