Hello!
I'm Drew Smith, a 15 year-old resident of the Atlanta, Georgia area and a new SETI@Home member. I attend Brookwood High School in Snellville, GA, and hope to receive a degree in Political Science or History from Georgia State University or UGA in the future. My musicians include The Beatles, Rage Against the Machine, Nine Inch Nails, Bauhaus, The Cure, Siouxsie and the Banshees, London After Midnight, Apoptymga Berzerk, The Smashing Pumpkins, Bella Morte, Skinny Puppy, and Rammstein. My favorite food styles are Thai, Italian, and Japanese. I am a vegetarian, atheist, and an anarcho-syndicalist (quite a combination, no?) who is active in many social causes.

Yes, I believe that extraterrestrial life exists out there, and hopefully through the combined efforts of SETI and SETI@home we shall be able to make contact with them. We have nothing to lose, so let's reach for the stars!

Yes! We should do what the late Dr. Carl Sagan did and send images, sounds, and data about our planet for other lifeforms to find... maybe they'll send something back ^_~....

Why do I run SETI@home? So I can be there for the Big One, when and if it happens. It's a brilliant idea and I hope to see more done with it.
