| I am a 26 yr old Construction Contractor from Maryland, I have a deep interest in whatever could be out there besides us, kinda wish i could just go see for myself but this would be rather impossible, so i figure i could give you guys a hand in this minor capacity |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

When i stumbled across this program, knowing beforehand your manpower and time issues, i thought "hey this is brilliant", getting people involved with helping you by using a nifty little screensaver program, kudos to whoever thought it up
SETI is, in my opinion, the only viable research project related to life outside our own solar system, As you all know, for the various logical reasons, your literally looking for a needle in a haystack, but at least your looking, thanks to you.
I could not speculate as to how we will find ET life, they may just e- mail you guys for all anyone knows, and depending on what they might have to say would dictate how we should react to the discovery, and transmitting a beacon from my understanding would be nearly pointless, as by the time it reaches someplace, we would all be the faded scribble at the top of some family tree |
