I love the Outdoors, and attempt to include such activities as Hunting, Fishing, Hiking, and Camping in my weekly routine.
My wife and 3yr old daughter are my life - and I attempt to include them in everything I do. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I definatly believe that extraterrestrial life exists! Are we, the human race, ready for contact? That is another entirely different topic!
Looking at the human race as a model, one can only hope that WHEN contact is made, we will be fortunate enough to meet a race of beings that will take pity and show us mercy; but just as likely, we could suffer an incident not much different than "Independence Day."
But still, I believe we should continue the search just because of the magnificient advances in science that we are sure to gain!
Why do I run SETI@Home? Simple - Since I believe in the "Cause", it is only fitting that I participate in any way possible. |
