Personal background
I'm a Freeride Skier New School Skier Skifreak from Copenhagen, Denmark!
All the many nights in the French Alpes (closest real mountains to Denmark), I've been looking at the sky full of brilliant stars, made me want to support the project!

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I think for sure there is life out there! I'm just not so sure we will find it - at least not for a loooooooooooooooong time...
If we ever find the life in space (other than ours), I'm not sure we will recognize it as life - and it will surely not look like us with big eyes, arms and legs...! Apart from that I still like The X-files :-)
If we find E.T. I'm afraid we will treat is like we treat the animals on this planet, and make them our speciments for testing purposes - until maybe one day we find ourselfs in the possision of the animals (like Planet of the Apes (hehe :-)...
I think SETI is a good and interesting (and important) project, but I don't think we will ever find anything out there this way - just keep up our own hope... I think to find any thing, we have to go our selves and dig up some large bagteria egg (like in Aliens 1). I don't think life exists "intelligent" in space, because that is just a term we invented in our world due to how our world is!
I don't beleive in God (or any other stupid children-goodnight-story called a religion), so I really hope "they" find "something" out there in my life time!!!!!
I would also like to go to the moon one day before I die ;-)
