When I joined SETI, I thought that I had three choices, 1. Join SETI 2. Join the search for the cure for Cancer 3. Join the search for the cure for AIDs. I think that finding ETI is more likely.
We should also be sending out messages for other life to pick up.
The SETI program should be optimised to run as fast as possible and use as little computer resources, except processor power.
