Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Of course there is life out there and a lot smarter than us. I hope we find find it in my lifetime so I can then say to the unbelievers "I told you so".
I believe that we should transmit our own signal and as to what information we should send, well leave it up to the scientists and definately not the politicians.
I also feel that the worlds countries should stop spending on defence budgets and combine their money into space exploration and fund worthwhile projects like SETI (wouldn't that be nice).
