USA - the state of Utah - is my home. Salt Lake City is the town, and yes, I'm looking forward to the 2002 Winter Olympics in the magnificent alpine mountains just minutes from here. Engineer (Mechanical and Nuclear) and architectural designer; doing construction management and estimating most recently. USED TO BE a "rocket scientist." Endeavor's OMS engines were built on my watch (Change Board Chairman).
Most important job in the world: raising your children to be better replacements for you. My son (my only) is the center of the known universe to me.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I registered for SETI before the first beta versions were made available. "They're out there ".... may be that we'll never find each other though; space is enormous beyond imagination and perhaps beyond bound. Still, we've got to look . . . and look ! We've been transmitting our own signals for decades now . . . that cat is out of the bag !
