I am orginally from Axbridge near Cheddar (where the cheese comes from!) Somerset, England.
I moved to Birmingham, England back in 1996 to study for a degree in Electronic Engineering.
In my final year I worked for the NASUWT http://www.nasuwt.org.uk as a web developer and from this experience decided this is where my career lay.
After graduating with a 2:1 in 2000 and got a job with Schoolsnet http://www.schoolsnet.com as a Broadvision developer. Since then I have been promoted to Senior Developer.
I still live in Birmingham and work from home.
I have a wife Emma and we have just bought our own house.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I'm am open minded to whether ET life exists - show me the proof and I'll believe it! But with the universe so big statistically we can't be alone.
I thought I'd run seti@home as I thought I'd like to join in a team effort and wanted to use any wasted cpu time.
