Personal background
I'm Jure from Kranj, Slovenia.

Born on 19th of March 1980 I finished some computer oriented schools and am now working as a web designer for Carpe Diem.

My favourite page I worked on is Drivers Planet, but now I mostly work on Računovodja.com, an accounting-oriented site.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
In the age of capitalism, the desire for progress which does not prove its worthiness with numbers(like seti@home), is small, while everyone tries to maximize their profits.

I do not agree with such non-scientific approach. I agree that budget management is vital to a country's security and social welfare. But to not invest in space, when the Earth is the only place we know about where our race can survive, is plain stupid.

Every space oriented program increases our chance of survival (ok, there's a chance aliens might eat us =), so the decision to join seti@home was one that is aligned with my general orientation in life.
