Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I am sure we are not alone, why? I don't know, but just imagine every star has one or more planets and the change of live evolving on a planet is very small (VERY SMALL), the change of being live somewhere else is great.
The only question is if we are able to find it, or if it is able to find us!

The problem with the current technology is that the maximum speed is lightspeed so we are looking in the past... perhaps listening to dino's on another planet?

If we send a beacon it should be a reflection of what we have on earth and who we really are.

SETI@home is a great way to participate in a project that deserves the attention of people all over the world.
Using the (growing) computer power all over the world it should be possible to find some interesting information about the universe and the "people" living there
