| Originally from Glasgow (Scotland), where I was born in 1950, now living in Surrey (England). I've had a keen interest in photography since before my teen years, and a similarly long-standing interest in many areas of scientific endeavour. I was charmed by the simple yet elegant idea of using spare time on computers all around the world for a computationally-intensive task like that of the SETI project, and have been dedicating my computer's spare time to it since 1999. |
