Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1. I think extraterrestrial life exist, but I think is very dificult to find because:
a. another intelligence must be living at the same time of us
b. It must have the know-how to send their radio signals
c. The signal must be sent in our direction
d. The famous messagge should be sent from a "living planet" (to make the contact real and not "just" an archeologycal discover) so it has to be a few blocks away from us...

2. The very same of 1 but vice-versa.

3. I run SETI@home because is a great idea to try to find that coincidence ("Contact" teaches). And I like the making of whole world a unique brain to serve the very first sense of the humanity: the Research (hopefully of the truth). This changes the second answer in: YES, humans must transmit... anything but "Beautiful".
