Personal background
Not much to me...I work at 7-11, a world-wide convenience store chain. I love computers, I play EverQuest. More than just an enthusiast, I know them inside and out. I just happen to have cable modem access to the internet. But I have a dream...

Maybe just maybe human kind can rise above it's own pettiness, and then when we stand in awe of the true nature of all things, of our universe and all it's creations, and realize, just for once, as a whole, how truly small we all are...

Then maybe we could become something more than what we are...even if only for a time...
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
SETI is just one chance to see into that infinate void, and hope for just a moment there is something staring back at us.

Are we all there is? Is this, our frail world, tiny, and distant from other stars, all there is to life?

We shall see, I would believe no, but we need proof. And how else can we find such proof unless we seek it. Let SETI seek for us, and let us help SETI along.

We can all help, from our old Pentium 75s to our home servers. Give SETI just a bit of your power and let them combine it into a lense. A beacon of pure light for all the universe to see...
