Yes.

No idea
c. What are the possible benefits and dangers of such a discovery?
I personally feel there wont be any dangers. If other life forms make themselves known, they're obviously coming in peace. We're hardly a threat to anyone.
2. Should humans transmit a beacon for others to find? If so, what information should we send?
Sounds good. Broadcasting playboy channel might inspire them to come quicker.
3. Why do you run SETI@home? What are your views about the project? Any suggestions?
Government funding if it even exists seems very limited in this area of research. Just trying to contribute what I can. |
