Personal background
I'm a 15 years old student from Caracas, Venezuela. I study Telecomunnications Engineery at the UCAB in Caracas. I always been attracted for the idea of being a volunteer in projects that may perhaps help in the World wellness. SETI@Home is one of this projects; it's a really nice idea from it's creators and it haves a lot of support of institutions like Berkeley. Thousands and thousands of users will make Search for ET Intelligence out there get to his final conclussion. I'm really proud of being part of SETI@home

Greetings from Caracas.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1) I don't think so, but I think that there are a lot of places at the universe where life could be established; the benefits are obvious for humans; we're living in a smog-filled World and we'll soon need another place to live. ET Places will be great therefore.

2) I think that, given the case that ET life exists, the transmitting of a beacon will be great in order to give "others" the idea of our planning, our desires and hopes about them. Information about life creation, actual science advances, languages of World, culture, etc. should be sent.

3) I run SETI@home because it's a beautiful way to help scientists in the search for ET intelligence or life, as a great advance of humanity in order of be free of problems like diseases, poverty, etc. Suggestions are not to be done to SETI; suggestions must be made to the Internet community, specially the Education area; perhaps all Colleges and Universities of World should be acknowledged of this idea.
