| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

| If we are the only intelligent beings, something went wrong in the evolutionary chain. If we do find life out there, think of all the information that can be exchanged. As for a beacon, I think that all the radio, TV and other communication waves we are sending into space, a blind man could find us in a sound-proof room. Why SETI@home? Why not. It beats watching a $1000 computer draw pipes as a screensaver and it helps some researcher in thier work. |
