I'm over 21 (X3 + a bit) - always been interested in things mysterious - and let's face it - science is a wonderful and mysterious subject.
I also like (keeping the mysterious thought-thread) things which stir the imagination - what if, why not, it might happen this way - those sorts of thoughts and questions. Hence I love Sci Fi, you know - Doctor Who, Charmed, Roswell (rip), Dead Like Me, Dune, Star Trek - etc. (and Buffy - man! don't forget Buffy!)
With such a background - I'm naturally into cumputers - have been practically all my life. I suppose my greatest claim to fame is being party to the development of what's now called "The Seven Layered Model" for computer communications: still that's another story.
I'm English - now living in Sunny Sydney - Australia - wonderful part of the world.
Music? - love it! Bach, Beethoven, Britain, Brubeck -> Handle, Hip-Hop, -> Schubert, Stravinsky, Stones -> Zink, Zappa (Frank),Zauberflote. Also - playing & performing - piano.
So - when it comes to the crunch - I'm probably pretty mush the ultimate geek. Oh yeah!

| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I guess it's one CooooooooooooooooooL project. Possibly the ultimate project - mankind's final question "Are We Alone?" - probably not - but the chances of finding intelegent life - broadcasting radio at the same time as we're looking - hmmm - very very small. Billions to one I should think. Still - there's no harm in looking - and it's really fun - the imagination runs riot (well mine does!)
