I am a 50-something MIS. I manage and support OpenVMS, TRU64 (Unix) and RHEL AS Linux systems, and do some programming. I live in Ottawa, Ontario, the capital of Canada. My interests include astronomy, electronics, computers (Doh!) and traveling. I have visited the USA on numerous occasions in the past, have visited Russia numerous times (wife is Russian), including Siberia in the far East. Also have been to Germany, Holland, Switzerland, France, England.

| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I became interested in astronomy, when I was about 8 y.o. Since then, after spending so many nights gazzing up at the sky, I have became convinced that it was logically impossible for mankind to be the only intelligent life form in the universe. The SETI@home project is a way for me to make a small contribution for this grand and noble project that SETI@home is. I whish us all the luck in finding something some day.
