Personal background
I'm a 24 year old Icelandic guy. I live in Reykjavik, the capital of Iceland and I go to school at MR. I'll get my diploma this spring (wish me luck!), and will probably work at least till new years to make up my mind before moving on. My main intrests are fast cars, beutiful girls, good beer and Star Trek! ;-)

I have a homepage wich at the moment is only in Icelandic. In a few months I'll have two of them (or maybe even three) and at least one in English. Untill then...
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I do think extraterrestrial life exists, because the world is simply to wast for it not to. It could even exist within our own solar system. Whether or not that life is inteligent is a completly different question! The chances for the human race to ever find another inteligent lifeform is highly unlikely, and potentialy catastrophic. In the event of actual contact we would have to be more carefull as a race than we have ever shown ourselfs to be in the past.

I run SETI@home becouse I want to know. If we can find out this way, I want to do my part. Hopefully it will lead us to some answers. If not about extraterrestrial life, then about the world itself...
