| Hi! I am a 35 year old stay-at-home mother of a six year old boy. My life revolves around my family-- I volunteer at my son's school and manage the financial records for my husband, who is a psychologist. Since my child started the first grade, I am looking to build my eBay business. Much of my time now is spent researching historical eBay data to find out which items make the most profit! I earned an MBA and a BSN in Nursing from the University of Delaware. My hobbies include walking with my friends, and taking trips with my neat family. I am a great baker, and like to decorate cakes. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |
|---|
Since there are so many planets out there, there are most likely extraterrestrials. We probably have discovered it already, but the government does not want to show this information, since it could make our citizens panic.
One of the dangers of contact with these aliens is passing of foreign germs to one another, and perhaps spreading a dangerous disease in the process. The greatest benefit would be to share advances in science to make a better world.
I run SETI@home because I do believe in extraterrestrials, and support any research that can scientifically prove they are for real. Plus, it gives me something else fun to look at on my computer! |
