Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Yeah, I think E.T. is out there. It would be too selfish to think that we are the only intelligent race in the universe but I fear we won´t meet in the next 300 years. Before we want to deal with interplanetary problems we have to "organize" local problems. Therefore sending signals into outerspace could be dangerous and interesting at the same time. Think of "Independence Day". Never the less I want to find out if there´s another life form. That´s why I support the SETI project...not with money but with hope and a bit of electric energy.
