Profile: Bob Mabry

Personal background
I am a semi-retired electrical engineer, currently in private practice, and work from my home office on assignment. My specialty is Mission-Critical Facilities, with an emphasis on 'single-point of failure' analysis, systems maintenance and exposure elimination.

My age is currently 66 years and ten months. My date of birth is August 19, 1940 and I was born in Long Beach, California. I currently own and live in my home in Camarillo, California, but I have lived in many other parts of the world including North Africa and Southeast Asia.

I am a survivor of colon cancer, which hit me in 2000, but after surgery and chemo-therapy, I have continued to test cancer-free... for this I am very grateful.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I am interested in the current expansion of the volunteer effort of distributed computing and utilizing my computing assets in order to further scientific efforts.
