Personal background
Well, what can I say... In a sence I'm from all over the place. Was Born in Chile, live in Montreal and now Working in Mexico, US, France Germany. Many of the people that I know are from all over the place, so it would be realy nice that the SETI group could find me a new contact some where in the vast Univers :)

Who am I? I'm a mix of everything that I like, and I like almost everything in all domain. But since I have a Master in Engeneering I am a bit more partial to tech stuff. But I also like philosophi and mostly methaphysics...

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Do you think extraterrestrial life exists? YES will we discover it, not yet and it's not dangerous. From my point of view the bigest danger lies within us. The ingnorance, the lost of hope for new frontier are all great obtacle that we must break first.

Should humans transmit a beacon for others to find? YES and we already have (radio, TV). What to send: Music, Images a happy face? With what pourpose, the only one that would be valid for me is to say simply that "We where here and we might be still here".

Why do you run SETI@home? For hope of a new and marvelous thing. When you thing about it in the 20th century we made incredible things, but in the 21th century oure acomplisment will lie simpli in refinement of what we have. The discovery of others out there would be a millestone.
