Personal background
Hi. I'm a 28 Canadian living in Edmonton, Alberta. I help fix computers and I fold origami as a hobby.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I became interested in SETI@Home soon after the project was started. However I didn't become involved until February of 2000 when got my broadband connection for my then shiny new computer.
I think that the universe is a very big place and that life probably has evolved on many other planets in the Galaxy. Intelligent life however, is a different story. I don't know whether or not we ever will discover evidence of NTI, but SETI@Home gives me something to do with my computer when I'm not using it for anything else.
The Dangers of making such a discovery? Probably that of shaking up of current world view that homo sapiens is the center of the universe. (Again.)

***NEWS FLASH Jan 27, 2002***
I've decided to retire from the SETI@Home project when I submit WU#1250. This should happen around the end of March - early April.
Thank you.

***NEWS FLASH Mar 25, 2002***
It's over. Thanks for coming out.
