I am originally from Texas, But i then moved and grew up in Las Vegas, NV. However i am currently in Florida, on a job, of which i am using a T1 and a Server to donate all the crunching time i can to SETI@HOME.
I am an 18yr old male. I Currently Work at a Local ISP. But i am trying to start a buisness and write a book. I have quite a few hobbies, mostly nerdy, and eccentric. but i love to read, i love to debate, and i love to write. Computers are also a big part of my life.

| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

There are many Disscussions about Life, and here is my View:
1.) If we were the only ones, then why? what makes our planet so much better than all those other billions upon billions of other, i mean thats a lot of wasted space, especially if there was a god. i mean would he make it just to fool us?
2.) With so many planets, solar systems, and galaxys, you can't help but wonder if there are other civilizations out there. but the way i see it is. we have only been here for a short period of time (in the astronomical sense) and maybe they just figured were too young to have life on, or not evolved enough. or maybe there aren't any ones close by enough to want to talk to us. But if there were, im sure that by what they have seen of us, they are dissapointed. I mean we kill ourselves over mindless and incompotent things, why would they want to put such highly voltile creatures in space. |
