Personal background
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Why do you run SETI@home?
I run SETI@home because finding extra-terrestrial life is a part of our future...

This project has already brought together over 3 million people in different countries around the world to work together towards a common goal... Finding Extra-terrestrial lifeforms...

It's worthwhile because it's the future of mankind...

Thoughts about ETI
Of course they are out there. Anyone who thinks that we are alone in this *vast* universe which contains billions upon billions of stars and planets is greatly mistaken.

As far as I am aware we *are* transmitting our own signal for others to find, unless someone pulled the plug on it and didn't tell anyone. ~shrugs~
