Personal background
Moi
Born in 1971 I was ten years old when I was given my first computer.

When working for a computer games company I started running a bulletin board.

Seeing how popular bulletin boards enabled subscribers to exchange messages not only with members of the same board but often with other popular boards I was seeing the start of the Internet for the public.

I love the Internet, I pretty much live on the Internet.

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Space, is big, mind bogglingly big. You may think that it's a long way down to the shops but that's just peanuts compaired to space.....

I think I've read just a little too much science fiction. Personally I like Douglas Adam's view on the universe with things like the 'infinite improbibility drive' and a restraunt at the end of the universe.

There is extraterrestrial life but the more important question is how far away is it?
