Personal background

At the moment I am looking for a job as a Course Developer or Technical Writer in the Santa Cruz/San Jose area. I have over seven years experience writing technical materials for high-tech companies in the area. I live in Santa Cruz, CA and went to school at U.C. Santa Cruz. In college I majored in Mathematics with the hopes of teaching. I found that teaching doesn't pay the bills and found myself working high-tech. Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I think that SETI@home is a cool project. With as big as the universe is, there has to be something else out there. Even if there is nothing else out there, SETI@home at least gives idle computers something to do.
