During my working hours I am the manager of the standards department at DAF Trucks, Eindhoven, The Netherlands.
In my free time I am a father of 3 children having lots of hobby's. Two of my hobby's are astronomy and computers (but at this moment computers take the most of my time).

| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

No way that there is no life out there.
But will we find them or would they like to be found?.
But what will happen if we find it? At this moment in time we can not live with one and another, how will that work out if we find life in space. At the other hand it could bring new hopes and insights in other methods of conflicts solving.
At this time I do not think that we are mature enough to send a beacon into space introducing our self. And if we do it should be a cry for help.
At the other hand I really hope that we will find someone, and therefor I have joined this programm. |
