| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

1. Yes I think that extraterrestrial life exists. Maybe not now bt the commming time will tell about it. As human beings, curiousity is in our nature. Maybe other creature also thinks that there could be possibility that there is also life somewhere in the universe. Benifits will be more knowledge and danger is only possible if they will find us hostile towards them.
2. Yes we can transmit a beacon for others as well. Why not. It could be a messege in all the possible language.
3. Well, I would like to have small contribution in this project. And I think that if I have a permenant LAN connection and if my computer will be idle then why not to utlize the energy and power for some work? |
