Personal background
I'm Phil J., 19 years young (compared to the universe), and I'm a High School graduate from Oshkosh North!
I love to play soccer, volleyball, badminton and all other sports !Track is my favorite sport - I'm a sprinter and as my coach always said: you can train a long distance runner but you are born to be a sprinter :-)
Also a hobby of mine is to write poetry. I don't have much done, becasue I only write when I'm dissapointed with life, and this hasn't happen that much yet.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
*This poem is dedicated to a girl I will love where ever I am. Thank you Clare for making my year in the USA so wonderful. I will never forget you !!!*

The universe holds the stars and your eyes
hold the universe; the place of unlimited
time and space that makes me feel weightless
all the time they look at me. They make me
feel secure in a clear summer night when I
look up in the sky and dream about you.

Your smile is as lovely as a shooting star
and if I could wish one wish with every time
you smile at me the only thing I would ever
wish for is another star, falling, bright
and gracious down to earth. And if it falls
in love, it will burn a whole in the sky and
as a new star it will never be forgotten.

I wish I could be born in the universe of
your eyes like a tear because I would rise
from the most beautiful place of all places
you could be born. And at the end of the
world I would die on your lips, on a
shooting star that brings hope in ev'ry
child's heart.

The love I feel for the start and the Universe are not only expressed by this poem but also by enjoying watching the stars with my friends whereever I am in the world. Therefore I'm having SETI on my computer. Maybe I can't see them, but I can have another need feature: I can 'hear' them *smile*
