Personal background
Hi, Everyone. I am Canadian, a Golden Hawk and a 1997 grad from Wilfrid Laurier University, my wife Chantal (works in genetics) and we are hockey fans, Go Habs Go, science grads. I presently work with databases and business intelligence tools; project managing.

Besides being a Star Trek Fan; I enjoyed the old cult Sci-Fi series Blakes 7. Waiting for the region 1, north american version of the DVD to be released.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I do believe in SETI and its research. There is life on other planets. But is it intelligent life? Sometimes I wonder if there is any intelligent life on earth. Isn't intelligence a relative thing too? We may find out more about the rest of the galaxy one day. But lets not forget to search our own planet and learn more about ourselves. The meaning of life and the search for intelligent life on other planets starts with our own.
