Personal background
I am a 40 something divorced mother of 1 teenage computer geek (who also runs seti). I usef to be an anti-computer person who has turned turned 100% computer geek! I have come a long way
from someone who never wanted a computer in my house.
I live on the west central coast of Florida, and enjoy building web pages and learning more about technology all the time.

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I do not think we are alone. I am sure that somewhere out there another life form lives.
I would love nothing more then to one day find out that there are beings more advanced than us, and
that they contact us and teach us how to fix up the mess we are currently making of this planet.
The only dangers I can see of us making contact, is to find out that we have miserably failed our test
that our ancestors were dropped off on this planet to do..
I believe that once upon a time our ancestors were dropped off on this planet as a test of survival, to see what they could accomplish
wish no technology and no civilized advancements.. The Romans and also Atlantis is proof that at some point we had a knowledge that didn't really fit in with the time and place.
How did they know all the things they did, and then lose it and not regain it until further in the future?
I feel it had to come from a different world.
I run seti@home in the hopes that my meger contribution will help in locating any hint of there being life out there on any distant planet.
I think this project is fantastic, and I am constantly telling people about it and getting more involved.
