Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I believe that there must be many, many life forms elsewhere in the Universe, based on the incredibly high number of planets out there and the very old age of the Universe(s). In my opinion, it is arrogant to believe that Earth is unique in possessing life. As to extra-terrestrial intelligent life, it seems far-fetched to me, but I am open to the possibility of its existence.

I run SETI@home becuase it is cool and fun. Furthermore, if we ever do receive a signal, I want to have been a part of it.
