My name is Trevor A Panther, I am retired and 81 years old on 8 June --tomorrow!
April/May 2004 I completed a cycling pilgrimage from my home in South Yorkshire, England to Santiago de Compostela -- a distance of 2340.4 Km from my front door to the cathedral in Santiago.
In May/June/July 2005 I cycled down the Danube from Donaueschingen to Bratislava and back covering over 3000 kms
in May/June 2006 I cycled camp from just North of Basel, down the Rhein to Koblenz then up the Mosel to Metz and back and then continued down the Rhein to Rotterdam. Then took the ferry to Hull and cycled to York for the Cycle show.
In May Jume 2007 I cycled from Nemours ( South of Paris) following the rivers Soane and Rhone down Avignon and then on down to Narbonne where I picked up the Bike Express bus to take me back home
2008 i ferried to St Malo then cycled dow to the Dordogne where I visited friends before heading back up throught France heading for the Loire near La Charité sur Loire, then down the loire to Amboise and from there back up to St Malo
2009 saw me heading off to Berlin.I cycled from home to Hull, ferry to Rotterdam then cycle along the North sea cycle route through the netherlands then into Germany, to Hamburg, then followng rivers to Berlin and then back to Rotterdam by train and home by ferry
2010 I took the Bike Express bus to Nemours and set off south before following the Canal du

| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

1. I stopped running the seti programm in 2006?7. The Boinc programme was encountering lots of problwms and I got weary of failures to do any work
Just going to give it another try perhaps over 10 years later. Lot more computing power now and hugely better internt speeds. Just started it 6 June 2018
I will see if it is worth doing!
